Dragon Ball Super — According to information released on the official Twitter , it has been revealed that the next arc of the anime will focus on the character Future Trunks. The saga will once again feature artwork and story by author Akira Toriyama .
The new arc follows directly after the conclusion of God of Destruction Champa and the battle between universes, where Goku and his friends mysteriously encounter Trunks.
The post ends by leaving the question: “ Why did Trunks return after defeating Cell and achieving peace? Who will be the new enemy? ”
Dragon Ball Super: Future Trunks will premiere on June 12th on Japanese TV.
