At the end of last year, Dragon Ball Super: Broly the movie hit Japanese theaters, and as it's part of the Dragon Ball , it's no exaggeration to say that the anime was a worldwide success. Having grossed over US$100 million in screenings around the world, everyone became more and more excited for a sequel.
Recently, the Blu-ray version of the film was released in Japan, including not only the film disc but also a small booklet with extra information. This information includes an exclusive interview with the director of the Dragon Ball Unit , Akio Iyoku , where he states:
“Now, for the next steps, we are preparing for the next movie. Broly was so strong that I think the next one will probably be totally different. I overcame several obstacles with parts of Broly, so I won't get tired of it. I think Dragon Ball will continue, so I want the fans to look forward to it.”
