Recently, the Blu-ray version of the film was released in Japan, bringing with it not only the film disc, but also a small book with extra information. And in this information, there is an exclusive interview with the director of Dragon Ball Unit : Akio Iyoku , where he states:
"Now, for the next steps, we're preparing for the next movie. Broly was so strong that I think the next one will probably be completely different. I've overcome several obstacles with parts of Broly, so I won't get tired. I think Dragon Ball will continue, so I want the fans to look forward to it."
