Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released an announcement video dedicated to a closed beta test of its game Dragon Ball: The Breakers , which it will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
Registration for the test is only open for PC, the beta period will take place between December 3rd and 4th.
The game will bet on a proposal in which seven normal “survivors” face off against the “Raider”, the eighth player. The Raider takes the form of an important character from the Dragon Ball series, such as Cell, Buu or Frieza, with the aim of eliminating survivors. The survivors, who were sucked into “The Temporal” line, have no superpowers. Instead, they use items, weapons, and vehicles to fight and escape the Raider while searching for the Super Time Machine to escape. There will be a character customization mode for Survivor avatars, and players can obtain skins and gear using in-game credits or by making in-game purchases.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be a game focused on an online multiplayer mode for eight people, and is scheduled to launch in physical and digital format in 2022.
