I'm a technology enthusiast and a lover of anime, manga, and games. The vast majority of anime I enjoy belong to the Shounen demographic.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released an announcement video dedicated to a closed beta test of its game Dragon Ball: The Breakers , which will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Registration for the test is open only for PC users; the beta period will take place between December 3rd and 4th.

The game will feature a premise where seven ordinary "survivors" face off against the "Raider," the eighth player. The Raider takes the form of a major character from the Dragon Ball series, such as Cell, Buu, or Frieza, with the goal of eliminating the survivors. The survivors, who have been sucked into "The Temporal" timeline, have no superpowers. Instead, they use items, weapons, and vehicles to fight and escape the Raider while searching for the Super Time Machine to escape. There will be a character customization mode for Survivor avatars, and players can obtain skins and equipment using in-game credits or by making in-game purchases.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be a game focused on an eight-player online multiplayer mode, and is scheduled for release in physical and digital formats in 2022.
