With an asymmetrical gameplay style, The Breakers puts seven players in the role of survivors trying to escape an invader, who now features a powerful new form of Frieza. Additionally, the Ultra Instinct Transfer adds new defensive strategies to the game.
Golden Frieza increases the challenges for players in Dragon Ball: The Breakers
The most impactful new feature of the DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS update is the inclusion of Golden Frieza, who arrives as an alternate form of the villain. Unlike his other transformations, this version significantly increases his speed and hunting ability, but reduces his health, making combat more strategic.
In addition to improved mobility, skills, and Ki Blasts have been revamped, allowing for new approaches in the fight against the survivors. The mechanics encourage a more aggressive playstyle, exploiting the speed advantage without completely compromising the character's stamina. Furthermore, the villain joins other major antagonists from the franchise, solidifying The Breakers as an intense battleground within the Dragon Ball universe.
Transfer Superior Instinct empowers survivors
To balance the threats of the invader, Season 8 of DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS also introduces the Ultra Instinct Transfer. This new feature allows players to activate a targeted attack on a specific enemy or dash towards the camera if there is no nearby target.
Furthermore, Dragon Transformation temporarily activates special attacks, expanding the survivors' strategies during combat. This new tool broadens the possibilities for survival, making the game even more dynamic and challenging.
With these improvements, players have more strategic options to face the growing threat of invaders.

Expanding the Dragon Ball universe in video games
Dragon Ball: The Breakers is part of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse universe, featuring direct connections between the games. Therefore, the new season reinforces the integration between the titles, offering new content for fans of the franchise.
The game is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, with compatibility for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Bandai Namco continues to invest in the development and expansion of the Dragon Ball universe in games, consolidating its role in the interactive entertainment landscape.
