Most people already know that there will be a Dragon Ball x Toriko x One Piece special, and episodes 99 of Toriko and 590 of One Piece have released teasers for the special, further highlighting it. This special will bring together characters from Toriko, Dragon Ball, and One Piece in one place. A merging of three distinct generations, we could say (even though Toriko isn't yet the commercial success that Jump and Toei are trying to make it). This is the third time Toriko and Luffy will meet in an anime, as they had a crossover in the premiere of the blue-haired giant's anime and in episode 51 of the same. Goku, however, is a surprise guest the first time. Of course, this is also a great marketing ploy to promote Dragon Ball Battle of Gods and the Toriko movie, which should be released later this year. In it, there will be a tournament in Toriko's world organized by the Gourmet Organization that will decide which character is the strongest of all, something like the Tenkaichi Budokai from Dragon Ball. The special will feature confirmed appearances by Goku, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Master Roshi, Android 18, Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, Mr. Satan, and of course, our great host. From the One Piece team, Luffy, Nami, Chopper, Sanji, Zoro, Franky, Robin, and Usopp will be present. Finally, alongside Toriko, we'll have Sunny, Zebra, Coco, Komatsu, Rin, and Setsuno.
