Game company Nitro+CHiRAL announced this weekend that an anime adaptation of the "Boys-Love" game DRAMAtical Murder has been greenlit and will happen. The anime's official website is streaming a trailer featuring the opening theme "Slip on the Pumps."
The game's story revolves around a young man named Aoba who lives with his grandmother on Midorijima . He works in a junk shop alongside the former residents of the island's district. Aoba is content with his simple life, but is drawn into mysterious events unfolding on the island.
Kazuya Miura ( Macross Frontier: Sayonara no Tsubasa) is directing the anime alongside studio NAZ. Touko Machida (Allison & Lillia, The IDOLM@STER) and Kabura Fuchii are in charge of the script. Yukiko Ban (Brave10, .hack//SIGN, Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi) is designing the characters. The anime is scheduled for release this summer.
