Drifters – Anime gets its first promotional video!

Japan's NBCUniversal released the first promotional video for the animated series Drifters , an adaptation by author Kouta Hirano (Hellsing). The video highlights the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Shonengahosha, the publisher of the original manga. The video describes the anime's main team.

Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) is directing the anime. Hideyuki Kurata (Tokyo Ravens) writes the script, Yousuke Kuroda (Hellsing Ultimate and Gungrave) is also writing the scripts along with Kurata.

The story follows Shimazu Toyohisa, the real-life samurai who fought in the pivotal battle of Sekigahara. In his final moments, Shimazu is transported to a world of magic with other famous warriors. These warriors are forced to fight each other in an endless battle.
