The new animated feature Drifting Home ( Ame wo Tsugeru Hyouryuu Danchi ) has had its premiere date revealed. According to the official Twitter, the animation arrives on September 16th on the platform.

Directed by Hiroyasu Ishida (Penguin Highway) with character designs by Akihiro Nagae .
Bin Shimada joins the cast as Yasuji Kumagaya , Kousuke's grandfather who treats Natsume like his own granddaughter. While Nana Mizuki voices Satoko Tonai, Natsume's mother.
Synopsis:
Two childhood friends, Kousuke and Natsume, whose building they live in is about to be demolished. Suddenly, due to an inexplicable phenomenon, the same building becomes “adrift”. And so their journey home begins.
Finally, the film Drifting Home will premiere in 2022.
