The official website for the anime Dropkick on My Devil! announced today that the production committee has canceled the in-person event “ Thank You Dropkick! In Sapporo .” The event organizers made the decision on the advice of the police, after receiving a message threatening arson against the event venue and making death threats against the artists and participants.
The event was scheduled to take place at Adachi Gakuen Odori Park Hall in Sapporo City on November 7th . The event organizers reported the threatening message to the local police, who then advised the organizers to cancel the event.
The event would feature the voice actors from the anime, along with Yuki Miku Hokkaido mascot based on Hatsune Miku .
