As we already know, the new anime Captain Tsubasa (Super Champions) recently premiered in Japan, and here in Brazil, it already has a guaranteed dub. The Cartoon Network has already defined the official title of Captain Tsubasa and also revealed the names of those who will be behind the Brazilian dubbing.
Below is the list of voice actors for Captain Tsubasa:
- Tsubasa Ozora – Enrico Espada
- Geno Wakabayashi – Caco Penna
- Ryo Ishizaki – Danilo Diniz
- Roberto Hongo – Douglas Monteiro
- Taro Misaki – Nathalia Guillen
- Kojiro Hyuga – Fabio Campos
- Tatsuo Mikami – Mateo Novaes
- Natsuko Ozora – Elisa Vilon
- Kodai Ozora – Ettore Zum
The new project will take place at the Lexx Comunicações studio. Unfortunately, the new Brazilian version of the anime will not feature any of the original voice actors, and, as previously revealed, due to restrictions imposed by the Japanese licensors, the dubbing studio cannot change the characters' names.
Captain Tsubasa does not yet have an official premiere date on Cartoon Network, but there are rumors that the premiere may occur between June and July as part of the channel's special programming focused on the FIFA World Cup.
