Warner Bros. has revealed the first trailer for the highly anticipated new science fiction adaptation of Dune .

In the new Dune adaptation, Timo Thée Chalamet will play the protagonist Paul Atreides, whose family agrees to control the desert planet Arrakis, which produces a valuable resource disputed by several noble families. He is forced to flee to the desert—with the help of his mother—and joins nomadic tribes, eventually leading them thanks to his advanced mental abilities. Dave Bautista will play Rabban, the sadistic nephew of a baron who rules Arrakis and is also known as The Beast. The cast also includes Oscar Isaac , Zendaya , Josh Brolin , and more.
Finally, the theatrical is scheduled for December 17, 2020, and a sequel is already in production.
