The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) revealed this Wednesday afternoon, March 11th, that due to the Covid-19 (new coronavirus) outbreak, it has canceled the E3 2020 event, the biggest gaming that would take place from June 9th to 11th. .
After careful consultation with member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our fans, our employees, our exhibitors and our long-time E3 partners – we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2020, scheduled for June 9th and 11th in Los Angeles.
Following growing and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus, we felt this was the best way to proceed during an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we will not be able to hold this event for our fans and supporters. But we know it's the right decision based on the information we have today.

Microsoft , which has Phil Spencer, revealed on Twitter that the company will hold a Xbox to showcase the next generation.
Finally, Ubisoft stated that it understands the reason for canceling the event and that it is exploring other options for a digital experience that will allow it to show the news it has planned.
