Synopsis
In the story, an orphan named Shiki Granbell raised by automaton robots on the planet Granbell, this being a type of theme park. One day the park then sees B-cube Rebecca and her friend, Happy, when they see each other Shiki tries to make friends with them while they record videos.
The first season of the anime then premiered in Japan during the spring 2021 season (April-June) and had a total of 25 episodes.
Shinji Ishihara (Fairy Tail, Log Horizon) was therefore the chief director of the first season at JC Staff, and Yūshi Suzuki (episode director for the third season of Fairy Tail) directed the season. Suzuki passed away on September 9, 2021. Mitsutaka Hirota (Zoids Wild, Rent-A-Girlfriend) supervised and wrote the scripts for the series, while Yurika Sako (key animation for Food Wars! The Third Plate) designed the characters for animation.
Finally, author Hiro Mashima has been publishing the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine since June 2018.
