Edomae Elf

Nikkatsu Anime YouTube channel posted a promotional video announcing that Akihiko Higuchi 's manga Edomae Elf is anime adaptation .

Check it out:

Synopsis

Koganei Koito is a teenage girl who works as an attendant at the Takamimi Shrine. Rumors say the shrine is inhabited by a deity, but the true resident is an immortal elf who became trapped on Earth about four hundred years ago. Moreover, the elf is a completely reclusive person who doesn't want to leave his house… and has developed a love for video games! In this charming fantasy comedy, the shrine's guardians must satisfy the elf's penchant for the latest gadgets, from handheld games to virtual reality headsets.

The main voice actors are:

  • Yuka Ozaki as Koito
  • Ami Koshimizu as Elda

Takebumi Anzai (PuraOre! Pride of Orange, Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu, Go! Go! 575) is directing the anime at C2C . Shogo Yasukawa (A Certain Scientific Railgun T, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) is supervising and writing the scripts. Takeshi Oda (Harukana Receive, Wandering Witch – The Journey of Elaina) is designing the characters and serving as animation director. Akito Matsuda (Sound! Euphonium, Liz and the Blue Bird) is composing the music.

Akihiko Higuchi drew the following illustration to commemorate the news:

Higuchi launched the manga in Kodansha 's Shonen Magazine Edge in 2019. The sixth volume of the manga will be released in Japan on Thursday.
