Netflix has shared an update for the live-action Hollywood series of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga, the update is therefore a message from author Eiichiro Oda, who also serves as executive producer.

Oda states that the show is still scheduled to premiere in 2023, but will not release it until he is "satisfied." He added that "each and every entity involved is working in sync," and also clarifies that the series will have eight episodes, as opposed to the originally reported ten.
