During E3 2013, Eiji Aonuma, producer and director of The Legend of Zelda games , revealed that he is already preparing a brand new project for the franchise, exclusive to the Wii U. Meanwhile, fans await the arrival of the HD version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker , which comes out in October.
Aonuma highlighted that, after the release of Wind Waker HD , Nintendo will give players some time to enjoy the experience before officially announcing the next title. Therefore, we can expect news about this new adventure soon.
Three projects at the same time
In the same interview, the producer commented that he is simultaneously involved in three games: The Wind Waker HD for Wii U, A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS, and the mysterious new Zelda. Furthermore, Aonuma confessed that he would like to work on other Nintendo franchises, such as Mario , Metroid , or Donkey Kong , however, time does not allow it.
"Almost every time I think about creating something different, Nintendo gives me another Zelda," Aonuma revealed humorously.
So fans can get excited: in addition to the nostalgia with Wind Waker HD , a new original chapter of The Legend of Zelda is already on its way to the Wii U.
