Studio Pierrot , known worldwide for hits like Bleach and Naruto , has unexpectedly the first promotional image for its newest project: ēlDLIVE . The anime, adapted from the work of Akira Amano , creator of Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, is already piquing fans' curiosity. After all, it's not every day we see a new Akira series come to life on the big screen.

Furthermore, it's important to remember that Viz Media had already published the first three chapters of the manga in English during September and October 2014, as part of its "Jump Start" initiative. Therefore, the work had already attracted attention before, even before its anime announcement. As announced by the publisher, the plot follows Chuta Kokonose , a lonely young man with almost no friends. However, his routine changes completely when he discovers that the mysterious voice in his head, which he believed to be a figment of his imagination, is actually an alien living inside his body !

Anime has a scheduled premiere and high expectations

ēlDLIVE anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2017 , solidifying its position as one of the best-selling anime series of the year. Although few details are yet available, the promotional image already hints at the colorful and dynamic atmosphere fans can expect. Furthermore, Studio Pierrot reinforces expectations of a quality anime, as the studio has already proven its expertise with other successful adaptations.

However, many wonder whether ēlDLIVE Katekyo Hitman Reborn! fans will have an extra reason to closely monitor every new piece of information.
