Last week, it was announced that the beautiful Emilia Clarke of Game of Thrones fame was in the running to play Sarah Connor in the film. And today, December 16th, the news became official on websites abroad. It's worth noting that actress Emilia Clarke and the reboot's director, Alan Taylor, previously worked together on Game of Thrones.

She'll likely join actor Jason Clarke, who is currently in negotiations to play her son John Connor. The age difference between the two would be explained by some time travel, of course.
Although this film is being billed as a reboot, it's unclear whether that's actually the case, or whether it's a sequel.
