Therefore, the premiere of the 3rd season of 'Re:Zero' is scheduled for October 2024. It appears that the leaked episode is a 90-minute special titled “Gekijō-gata Akui” (Theatrical Malice), equivalent to 4 episodes.
Originally planned for the Japan Expo Paris 2024 , but cancelled by Crunchyroll in anticipation that someone might record and distribute it online.
Synopsis Re:ZERO:
Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who suddenly finds himself lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a beautiful silver-haired girl. He stays close to her to repay the favor, but the destiny she carries is more than Subaru can imagine. He then discovers that he has the power to rewind death, back to the first time he appeared in this world. But only he remembers what happened previously.
