The official Atlus YouTube channel released the first promotional video for the game Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Knight of Fafnir for the Nintendo 3Ds handheld. The trailer introduces the characters , including the dungeon and several battle scenes The game will be released this winter in Japan .
The Madhouse studio will return to produce the animated cutscene sequences for the game. The game will be a remake of the classic Etrian Odyssey II: . Heroes of Lagaard which was released for the Nintendo DS in 2008, Atlus had already remade the original Etrian Odyssey with Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl in 2013.
