Atlus YouTube channel Nintendo 3DS handheld Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Knight of Fafnir The trailer introduces the characters , including a dungeon and several battle scenes The game will be released this winter in Japan .

Madhouse will return to produce the 's animated cutscenes .  The game will be a remake of the classic Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard , which was released for the Nintendo DS in 2008. Atlus previously remade the original  Untold : The Millennium Girl in 2013.
