Synopsis:
The story follows Shinji Ikari, a teenager recruited by his own father to be the pilot of an EVA – a giant bio-robot. The EVAs, controlled by the NERV organization, are always moved by teenagers, as a way to combat alien threats known as Angels, in order to prevent another catastrophe like the one that occurred on Earth 15 years ago, an event known as the Second Impact.
Evangelion arrived in Brazil in 1999 on the old channel Locomotion , as well as being rerun years later on the also extinct Animax , with redubs by Álamo. Recently, with a 3rd dub available on Netflix .
Finally, with the success of the anime , the work was given a manga by Conrad and completed by Editora JBC .
