Studio Khara (responsible for the franchise's animations) made the three Rebuild films Evangelion series for free on YouTube. The works will remain on the platform until April 30th, however, the audio on YouTube remains in Japanese (original) and does not have subtitles.
The story that constantly questions the identity of human beings and their place in the world. Despite being written shortly before the 2000s, it contains timeless themes that perfectly define the doubt of “existence”, which every individual has experienced at some point in their life.
The films are a kind of remake of the anime and tell the story a little differently, so it is recommended that you watch the anime first. The same can be found on Netflix, as well as the first two feature films “The End of Evangelion and Death (true)²”.
