The new issue of Young Ace revealed that the classic Evangelion will get a new spin off starting in April. The work will have a story by Yushi Kawata and art by Yukito.
For now, no plot details have been released. The launch is scheduled for April 4th.
Author Yoshiyuki Sadamoto published the final chapter of Evangelion in June last year, 18 years after the release of the first chapter in 1994.
The manga has already inspired several spinoffs including, Neon Genesis Evangelion: Comic Tribute, Campus Apocalypse, The Shinji Ikari Detective Diary, Angelic Days and Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Shinji Ikari Raising Project.
