Studio Khara (responsible for the franchise's animations) has made the three Evangelion Rebuild for free on YouTube. The works will remain on the platform until April 30th; however, the audio on YouTube remains in the original Japanese and does not have subtitles.
The story constantly questions human identity and its place in the world. Despite being written shortly before the 2000s, it contains timeless themes that perfectly define the question of "existence," which everyone has experienced at some point in their lives.
The films are a kind of remake of the anime and tell the story slightly differently, so it's recommended to watch the anime first. It can also be found on Netflix, as can the first two feature films, "The End of Evangelion" and "Death (True)²."
