Studio Khara (responsible for the animations in the franchise) has made the three Rebuild films Evangelion series for free on YouTube. The films will remain on the platform until April 30th; however, the audio on YouTube remains in Japanese (original) and does not have subtitles.
A story that constantly questions the identity of human beings and their place in the world. Although written shortly before the year 2000, it contains timeless themes that perfectly define the question of "existence," which every individual has experienced at some point in their life.
The films are a sort of remake of the anime and tell the story in a slightly different way, so it's recommended to watch the anime first. It can be found on Netflix, as can the first two feature films, "The End of Evangelion" and "Death (true)²".
