Young Ace magazine revealed that the manga adaptation of the classic Evangelion will get a new spin-off starting in April. The story will be written by Yushi Kawata and illustrated by Yukito.
For now, no plot details have been released. The release is scheduled for April 4th.
Author Yoshiyuki Sadamoto published the final chapter of Evangelion in June of last year, 18 years after the release of the first chapter in 1994.
The manga has already inspired several spinoffs, including Neon Genesis Evangelion: Comic Tribute, Campus Apocalypse, The Shinji Ikari Detective Diary, Angelic Days, and Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Shinji Ikari Raising Project.
