According to a publication in the 17th issue of Shounen Magazine, it was revealed that a new Fairy Tail is in production. The anthology did not provide further explanation.
This year, the anime already gained a spin-off focusing on Maves, the founding mage of the guild, as well as a stage play and two OADs.

A second feature film was announced some time ago, but no further information has been released.
In Brazil, Hiro Mashima's manga is published by JBC.
