According to a publication in the 17th edition of Shounen Magazine, it was revealed that a new Fairy Tail is in production. The anthology did not provide any further explanation on this matter.
This year the animation has already won a spin-off that focuses on Maves, the guild's founding mage, as well as a theatrical play and two OADs.
Some time ago, the title had a second feature film announced, but no information was given until then.
