Yes!! Fairy Tail will return with its final season in 2018

Taking fans by surprise this Thursday, the 7th, we were delighted to receive the news that the Fairy Tail anime will get a third season, scheduled to arrive in 2018.
The news arrived immediately via Hiro Mashima , author of the popular manga in Dhonen Jump. In the morning, he announced on his Twitter that the series will get a season and definitively conclude the story. It's worth remembering that there is one chapter left in the manga, and Mashima has already commented that he plans to start a new project where he wants to tell a "new story with new characters in a new world".

Unfortunately, we don't yet have an exact release date for this new manga.
