Yes!! Fairy Tail will return with its final season in 2018
Taking fans by surprise this Thursday the 7th, we received with joy the news that the Fairy Tail anime will get a third season scheduled for arrival in 2018.
The news arrived hotly through Hiro Mashima , responsible for the popular manga on Dhonen Jump. In the morning he announced on his Twitter that the series will get a season and end the work once and for all. Vale remembers that there is one chapter left for the manga to end where Mashima has already commented that he plans to start a new project where he wants to tell a “new story with new characters in a new world”.
Unfortunately, we still don't have an exact date for the start of this new manga.

Published since 2006 in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine, the work has published 59 volumes to date. Here in Brazil, the manga is released by JBC. The anime was produced by studio A-1 Pictures and produced two seasons. Recently the new film in the franchise was released in cinemas: Fairy Tail – Dragon Cry.
