Fairy Tail Zero – The manga that revolves around the secret origins of the Fairy Tail , from the perspective of First Master Mavis, will be adapted into an anime, arriving in January 2016. The news highlights that the series' staff will be revealed soon.

Author Mashima launched the Fairy Tail Zero manga in the first issue of Monthly Fairy Tail in July 2014, concluding the series with the 13th volume, which was published on July 17th.
