It was revealed by SNK ( The King of Fighters ) that Fatal Fury will get a new game after a long 20 years. According to information, a teaser was released for the new project.

The franchise began in 1991 with Fatal Fury: The King of Fighters, originally released for the Neo Geo . In 1999, the last game in the series was released: Garou: Mark of the Wolves , also for the NeoGeo.

Finally, two compilations were released in 2006 and 2007 for the PlayStation 2. The plot revolves around Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi and Mai Shiranui.

Furthermore, the franchise gained anime films.
