In the April issue of “ Comp Ace da Kadokawa ” magazine, we learned that the manga of Fate/Apocrypha , by Akira Ishida and Yūichirō Higashide, will reach its final conclusion in the next issue.

Therefore, author Ishida released the manga adaptation in Comp Ace in June 2016. However, Kadokawa released the 15th compiled volume on October 26. Higashide first published the Type-Moon series as a short story in Type-Moon Ace magazine in 2011, with illustrations by Ototsugu Konoe. The series concluded in four volumes in 2014.
Synopsis:
Fourteen Legendary Spirits unite in a clandestine dispute for the Holy Grail. In the tumultuous atmosphere of World War II, a wizard escapes with the Grail, leaving behind a devastated city called Fuyuki. Decades later, the Yggdmillennia clan, now holder of the chalice, breaks with the Association of Mages, proclaiming its independence. In retaliation, the Association sends assassins, only to meet fierce resistance from the Yggdmillennia Servants. The decision is made: the Servant war expands to two factions, each with seven warriors. Thus begins the Great Holy Grail War, an unprecedented battle in Trifas, Romania.
Therefore, the anime adaptation of the Fate/Apocrypha novels by TYPE-MOON and Yuichiro Higashide premiered on Japanese TV and Netflix in Japan in July 2017 and had a total of 25 episodes. The anime premiered on Netflix in all other territories outside of Japan, the United States, and Canada that December. The second half premiered in the United States in February 2018.
Higashide wrote the script for the Tokunana anime, the Special 7: Special Crime Investigation Unit anime, and several others. Additionally, Higashide also wrote the light novel Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet, which was adapted into two films in 2020.
Finally, Ishida was the artist behind the manga MAOYU – Archenemy and Hero and the manga Oninagi.
