We have a new light novel FATE franchise coming. According to reports , Fate/Lost Einherjar will be written by Hikaru Sakurai and illustrated by Shirow Miwa ( Fate/Apocrypha ).
Synopsis:
The story takes place between a chance meeting of two heroic spirits, told as a prequel to a Sub-Holy Grail War. The valkyries dancing in the heavens and the dwarves forging the weapons of the gods, and even the deities and giants themselves disappeared. Battles between brave heroes and dragons have become legends of the distant past. The supposedly eternal flame atop Mount Hindarfjall did not last, and the Nine Norse Worlds were reduced to just Midgard.
The age of the gods had ended and the age of humans had begun. The brave humans live by plundering the seas. Aslaug is the daughter of the dragon slayer Sigurd and the valkyrie Brynhild. She slept for a long time under the great magical silver harp, and what awaited her when she woke up was a world of men without gods.
Finally, the volume of Fate/Lost Einherjar will be published by Type-Moon Books in 2022.
