We have a new light novel FATE franchise coming soon. According to reports , Fate/Lost Einherjar will be written by Hikaru Sakurai and illustrated by Shirow Miwa ( Fate/Apocrypha ).
Synopsis:
The story unfolds between a chance encounter of two heroic spirits, told as a prequel to a sub-War of the Holy Grail. The Valkyries dancing in the skies and the dwarves forging the weapons of the gods, and even the deities and giants themselves, have vanished. The battles between brave heroes and dragons have become legends of a distant past. The supposedly eternal flame atop Mount Hindarfjall did not last, and the Nine Norse Worlds were reduced to only Midgard.
The age of the gods had ended and the age of humans had begun. Brave humans now plunder the seas. Aslaug is the daughter of the dragon slayer Sigurd and the valkyrie Brynhild. She slept for a long time beneath the great magic silver harp, and what awaited her upon awakening was a world of men without gods.
Finally, the Fate/Lost Einherjar volume will be published by Type-Moon Books sometime in 2022.
