The new TV series Fate/stay night has a new promotional video, this time featuring the servant Lancer. This is the fifth character revealed by Ufotable ahead of the premiere.
The ad features the theme song "Ideal White" by Mashiro Ayano. The series' first episode is set to premiere on October 4th.
The new anime series will follow the "Unlimited Bladeworks" arc/route from the original game, split into two parts. The second half of the anime will premiere in April 2015. Newcomer Mashiro Ayano will perform the anime's first opening theme, while the musical group Kalafina will perform the first ending theme.
Unlimited Bladeworks' film adaptation of the original game premiered in Japanese theaters in 2010, with animation by Studio DEEN. Sentai Filmworks licensed and released the film in North America in 2012.
