Fate/stay night TV series released a new promotional video for the character Rin Tohsaka , one of the participants in the Holy Grail War and Archer's master. The ad features the theme song “ideal white” by Mashiro Ayano. The premiere of the first episode of the series is confirmed for October 4th.
The new animated series will follow the “Unlimited Bladeworks” arc/route of the original game, where it will be divided into two parts. The second half of the anime will premiere in April 2015. Newcomer Mashiro Ayano will perform the anime's first opening theme song, while music group Kalafina will perform the first ending theme song.
The Unlimited Bladeworks film adaptation of the original game debuted in Japanese theaters in 2010, with animation done by Studio DEEN. Sentai Filmworks licensed and released the film in North America in 2012.
