It was announced during the online event called Adult Swim Con the new anime “ Crunchyroll Originals ”, Fena: Pirate Princess , in collaboration with Adult Swim Crunchyroll and Adult Swim co-production will therefore air on Toonami and will be streamed on Crunchyroll in 2021 .
Synopsis
Fena: Pirate Princess is a 12-episode original anime series that tells the story of a young orphan, Fena Houtman. Fena was raised on an island where there is no hope of becoming anything more than an object to be used and discarded by the soldiers of the British Empire. But Fena is more than just another powerless orphan. When her mysterious past comes to light, Fena will break the chains of her oppressors. Her goal: to create a new identity, free from slavery, and to seek a place where she can truly belong and discover the true mysteries behind the keyword "Eden." It's the story of an adventure she and her team of misfits and unlikely allies will have in pursuit of their goals!
