Square Enix confirmed what everyone suspected, Final Fantasy VII got a remake, and is coming to PS4. The announcement came from E3 2015 where directors Tetsuya Nomura , Kazushige Nojima from the original return for this new version.
Nomura said that the remake of Final Fantasy VII is already in production, where a release date should be announced soon.
In the game FF VII , the player embodies one of the most beloved characters from the Final Fantasy series, Cloud Strife, a mercenary who is part of the ecoterrorism group, under the leadership of the explosive Barret Wallace. The first mission is to explode one of the Mako reactors (energy generated from the Lifestream, the “life” of the planet) of the Shinra company, which controls much of the world.
