Square Enix released a new trailer with game play for Final Fantasy VII : Remake, a game announced at E3 2015 allowing directors Tetsuya Nomura and Kazushige Nojima to return from the original.
In the video we see Cloud and Barret battling soldiers in a similar way to the battle system of the old Final Fantasy Versus XIII, a project that has currently been transformed into Final Fantasy XV.
In the game FF VII , the player embodies one of the most beloved characters from the Final Fantasy series, Cloud Strife, a mercenary who is part of the ecoterrorism group, under the leadership of the explosive Barret Wallace. The first mission is to explode one of the Mako reactors (energy generated from the Lifestream, the “life” of the planet) of the Shinra company, which controls much of the world.
