Square Enix , the game's developer, has released a 2.0 Dawn trailer for FFXV for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Alongside the trailer, we can see a new promotional image for the game centered on the character Luna. Below the image, you'll find the trailer.

Very little information about the game's plot has been revealed since E3 2006, however, Square Enix representatives have commented that the plot of Versus XIII (now Final Fantasy XV) may be even darker than the other games in the Final Fantasy series.
Final Fantasy XV revolves around Noctis Lucis Caelum, the last heir to an isolated nation that holds the last Crystal protected by kings. Its isolation stems from the city's resistance to protecting itself from invading heretics. The game is said to begin the cleansing of "a long cold war between warring nations that revolved around the Crystals."
