Square Enix revealed a new trailer titled “ Ambition ” for the game Final Fantasy XVI on Thursday.
The video showcases the game's story, including the introduction of the "Dominants," who have the ability to summon terrifying power in the kingdom of Valisthea. The trailer also showcases some gameplay.

The action RPG will launch on PS5 as a console exclusive. While an initial livestream trailer listed a PC , the trailer and the official website do not currently list a PC version.

Naoki Yoshida stated in June that the game was in its "final stages of development," with the game's development team focusing on polishing the game. Yoshida previously stated that "complications arising from the COVID-19 pandemic have delayed the game's development by almost half a year."
