Although the second season only had 12 episodes, just one episode of the Kimetsu no Yaiba ( Demon Slayer anime costs around US$80,000 — US$90,000 (R$415,530 — R$467.47) .

The film Mugen Train cost $15.8 million and grossed $504 million, meaning the film earned more than 31 times its original budget.

Synopsis of the 2nd season:

The story takes place in the District of Light arc , where we will get to know the Hashira of Sound, Tengen Uzui, . Therefore, Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke are recruited by Uzui for an investigation mission in this district. Disappearances are happening and disturbing rumors are spreading through the local brothels indicating that perhaps one of Muzan's Upper Moons

Finally, the 1st season of Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered in April 2019 , making the film a successful phenomenon. Furthermore, the second season premiered on December 5th in Japan.
