Developer HoYoverse has revealed details about Genshin Impact's 5.4 , titled Moonlight Amidst Dreams . The new patch will be released on February 12, 2025, for PC, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The update will bring new events, a new character, and gameplay tweaks.

Return to Inazuma and new challenges
The new update marks players' return to Inazuma , where they will encounter familiar characters and participate in the Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival . The event will feature three minigames and reward participants with the exclusive Tamayuratei no Ohanashi , as well as enhancement materials and Primogems.
In addition to the festival, a crisis involving Raiden Shogun will be central to the story. The Electro Archon will investigate a mystery linked to her past, which promises intense challenges. It will also be possible to follow the new character Yumemizuki Mizuki in her Story Quest , called Tapirus Somniator Chapter: Act I , where she solves mysterious cases.
Mizuki debuts as a new playable character
The only new character in version 5.4 will be Yumemizuki Mizuki 5-star Anemo support . She excels at boosting elemental reactions and providing team healing. Mizuki will be available in the update's promotional banners and, starting in version 5.5, will be added to the standard banner.
