The new episode of the second season of anime Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) featured one of his emblematic villains called Gyutaro (妓夫太郎 Gyūtarō).
Who is the oni Gyutaro
Gyutaro is an oni (demon) with a thin appearance, with pale skin, green hair, and orange eye color, with the Upper Moon number being Six. Gyutaro does not wear a shirt, only wearing pants and pieces of cloth that cover some parts of his body, seven in total in red, one on his neck and three on each arm.
Having a painful life, Gyutaro became a cruel and envious person. He, still in his human form, worked as a debt collector in the Red Light District , making everyone afraid of him. His arrogance is due to him being good at fighting and having killed several demon hunters during his life, some of these hunters being Hashira , the highest rank in the group. His protective side is due to the fact that his sister is his greatest pride. Gyutaro, even though he is a stronger demon than his sister Daki, he prefers to stay by his side, to the point that they both share the same body.
Gyotaro's past
In the past he survived several abuses from his mother, mocked for her voice, he starved himself and ate rats and insects to survive. As time passed, Gyotaro began to protect his sister Ume where she ended his sense of inferiority.
Techniques and Skills
Gyutaro has regeneration abilities Muzan 's blood . Capable of manipulating his own cellular tissue, he can team up with his sister to increase his powers and still be immune to death by decapitation. This is shown when Daki is decapitated by Uzui and, even so, remains alive minutes after losing her head. His blood techniques involve the use of poisons, even managing to create huge scythes.
Finally, we don’t know if the anime will change the pace of the story.
