Fire Force gets a new trailer!

Alann
Incredibly, I know more about anime than I watch, but it still serves as a good pastime.

The website for the Fire Force anime has begun streaming a new trailer for the adaptation, which begins airing on July 5th. The trailer also features the opening theme song: "Inferno," performed by Mrs. Green Apple.

Fire-Force

The manga by Atsushi Oobuko , the same creator of Soul Eater and Soul Eater Not!, has been published in the weekly Shonen Jump since 2015, and currently has 16 volumes. The manga is also published in Brazil by Panini, and is currently on its 6th volume. The anime adaptation is being handled by David Productions (the same studio as the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure ) and directed by Yuki Yase . Gakuto Haishima is the screenwriter and Hideyuki Morioka is the character designer; the anime's music is by Kenichiro Suehiro (also responsible for the music of anime such as Re:Zero, Goblin Slayer, and Hataraku Saibou).
The anime's synopsis describes:

"Year 198 of the Solar Era in Tokyo, the special forces of the Fire Brigade are battling a phenomenon called Spontaneous Human Combustion, where humans become living infernos known as "Infernals." While Infernals are the first generation of Spontaneous Human Combustion cases, later generations possess the ability to manipulate flames while maintaining human form. Shinra Kusakabe, a young man nicknamed "Demon Footprints" for his ability to ignite his feet at will, joins the Fire Force Company 8, a special force composed of flame users, and his job is to extinguish any Infernals they encounter. When a faction creating Infernals emerges, Shinra begins to uncover the truth behind a mysterious fire that killed his family 12 years ago."
