This year's 11th issue of Kodansha 's Weekly Shounen Magazine announced that Atsushi Ohkubo 's Fire Force manga will end in two chapters. The manga is scheduled to end in the magazine's 13th issue, which will launch on February 22.

The author mentioned on December 31st that his manga would end in “a few” chapters, he also confirmed that the manga would end in around two volumes. Ohkubo made it clear in the "author's comments" section of the manga's 23rd volume that the work was in its final stages, and that he was planning for Fire Force to be his last manga release.
Atsushi Ohkubo launched the Fire Force manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in September 2015, and the manga already has more than 17 million copies in circulation worldwide.
