The official website for Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai , or Anohana, released two trailers and a teaser for the film based on the series. The story takes place a year after the last episode of the series, but presenting the facts in a different way, from Menma's point of view. The film is scheduled to premiere on August 31st in Japan. Anohana is an 11-episode production from studio A-1 Pictures and Aniplex, directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai (Toradora!, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun). The series aired in Japan in 2011 on Fuji TV. In the plot, a group of friends followed different paths in their lives, thanks to a tragedy in the past. However, something unexpected happens: the supposed return of an old friend, who they avoided even mentioning her name, changes the rhythm of their day-to-day life.
