The official website for Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai , or Anohana, has released two trailers and a teaser for the film based on the series. The story takes place one year after the final episode of the series, but presents the events differently, from Menma's point of view. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on August 31st. Anohana is an 11-episode production from A-1 Pictures and Aniplex, directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai (Toradora!, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun). The series aired in Japan in 2011 on Fuji TV. The story revolves around a group of friends who are following different paths in their lives, due to a tragedy in the past. However, something unexpected happens: the supposed return of an old friend, whose name they avoided even mentioning, changes the rhythm of their daily lives.
