Fox has landed another DC of its own, having just announced the TV series Gotham date or cast yet.
According to Deadline , the production will be handled by Warner Bros. TV and will have a script written by Bruno Heller, of The Mentalist fame. In the story, Gordon is still a detective at the Gotham City Police Department and will face problems in the city, as well as clash with famous mobsters from DC Comics – initially, Batman will not appear in the series.
Gordon was first introduced in 1939 in the first Batman comic book. Created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, the commissioner has appeared in comics, films, and television series, including the Dark Knight trilogy.
